What We Offer

A community of families who homeschool utilizing the classical method of teaching and learning

Grammar Stage

From birth we are learning about the world around us: names of the things we see in our world around us. In Magna Vitae Co-op, from birth through 6th grade we are quite simply learning the facts of history, science, Latin, math, English grammar, music, art - focused on creatively memorizing and reinforcing these facts as well as reading

Logic Stage

Around ages 12-15, children begin utilizing the information they have learned, so the focus is learning the Socratic method of discussion and the art of asking questions utilizing the
5-Common Topics

Rhetoric Stage

For ages 15 and up, the students' focus is research, writing and honing the Socratic discussion skills learned in the Logic Stage. It is our goal to have a rigorous weekly community day for our students AND provide time and space for the individual option of attending Running Start for students ages 16-18.

About Us

In 2017, we realized our need for a homeschool community which met our needs, desires, and goals which included affordability and schedule flexibility with both Running Start and High School sports. We put our knowledge and ideas on the table and have been learning and growing together in the process of creating a co-op which best meets not only our need for community as we homeschool but that of others as well.  While it is neither perfect nor polished, it is flexible, robust, thriving and is a beautiful community where we are learning and growing together from the youngest to the oldest members.
Parents. Homeschoolers. Friends.
